Afghanistan final report print production continues; Angola continues data collection in three provinces; report of preliminary opinion collection in Colombia completed; Somalia (Phase 2) final report distributed.

Afghanistan
Print production of the final report continues.

Angola
Data collection activities are on-going in three provinces. MAG continues survey in Lunda Sul and Moxico provinces and HALO Trust in Kuando Kubango. SAC preparing interim atlas and report on 10 completed provinces.

Colombia
Analysis and report of the Preliminary Opinion Collection (POC) conducted by Colombia Campaign to Ban Landmines (CCCM) was submitted to Landmine Observatory in Bogota.

Democratic Republic of Congo
With partial funding from Canada, SAC will begin an enhanced Preliminary Opinion Collection to the district level in early 2006.

Ethiopia
Ethiopian Mine Action Office (EMAO) is reviewing the final report.

Jordan
SAC continues discussions with the National Committee for Demining and Rehabilitation concerning an LIS in Jordan.

Somalia (Phase 2: Bari, Nugaal and Mudug Regions)
The final report has been printed and distribution continues into early December.

Zambia
UNDP sends SAC mission (Bob Eaton and Ted Paterson of the GICHD) to Zambia to develop Completion Initiative planning to address the landmine problem in Zambia.

Survey Action Center
Executive Director attends 6th Meeting of the States Parties in Zagreb, Croatia for the week of 28 November. Bob also attends the CIDA and GICHD-sponsored Second Informal Dialogue Linking Mine Action to Development in Geneva.
