Afghanistan
The layout in the Dari and Pashto languages by graphic designers continues.

Angola
MAG completes field work in Lunda Sul and Moxico provinces and HALO Trust completes field work in Kuando Kubango. Fourteen provinces now completed. Four remaining. NPA begins training field teams for survey in Zaire province. SAC distributes interim atlas and report on 10 completed provinces.

Democratic Republic of Congo
With partial funding from Canada, SAC will begin an enhanced Preliminary Opinion Collection to the district level in 2006.

Ethiopia
Ethiopian Mine Action Office (EMAO) is reviewing the final report.

Jordan
Discussions continue with Jordan and donors on planning for LIS in Jordan in 2006.

Senegal
Director for Survey Mike Kendellen conducts training for Quality Assurance Monitoring at SAC for Russell Gasser of Humanitarian Technology Consulting Ltd for the LIS in the Casamance region of Senegal. Handicap International commenced data collection in December.

Survey Action Center
Executive Director Bob Eaton is presenter at the UN Chief Technical Advisors training at Cranfield University. Bob travels to Sana'a, Yemen as part of the Completion Initiative. SAC appreciates the week of research provided by intern Charlie Taylor from Swarthmore College.
