SAC announces the departure of Finance Manager, Moe Aye, who has accepted employment elsewhere as an assistant controller. Moe has been a mainstay at SAC over the past four years. The SAC staff extends its sincere appreciation to her for all her dedication and fine work. We will also miss her cheerful smile, her food selection at our favorite Burmese restaurant, and the periodic visits by her young son!.

SAC welcomes Madison Lawrence who is joining us on a part-time basis to bridge the gap left by Moe’s departure. We will introduce Madison on the SAC website in the near future.

SAC acknowledges the extraordinary achievements of Mary Wareham (Next Step Productions) and Brian Liu (Toolbox DC) with their film documentary “Disarm” on the landmine issue, which had its screening debut at the AFI Mid-Atlantic Regional Showcase Theatre, Silver Spring MD on 31 May.
