Sudan

Mines Advisory Group completes field work in Kassala, Sennar, Gederaf, Red Sea state and Northern Bahr El Ghazal. Field work began in Warrap,
Lakes and Central Equatoria. By end of 2007, 10 states will have been surveyed. The LIS report for Eastern Sudan will be available in September.

Economic Planning Tool

SAC conducted field research in Angola and Afghanistan to develop economic decision support tools for use in mine action, with the aim to
advance knowledge in the areas of impact survey data utilization, surveillance methods, and planning.
LIS Explorer Upgrade
